Nikoneer: I just saw this one in "Image Approval"... as if it actually needed it!! Majestic, Lyn.

scorpie: Lovely capture.
corngrowth: The people on the southern hemisphere are back again to the 'good side' of the calender, Lyn.
Implicates that we, on the northern hemisphere, were switched now to its 'wrong side'. That's life: inevitable!
Wonderful and moody image!

tigger3: I thought I saw him riding by on horseback on the horizon. Ted, this is very, very good. tigs=^..^=
LynEve: Congratulations Ted :)
I really like this peep into a different world
Nikoneer: Well... yeah... sorta... I've seen "The Searchers" several times (recognize Wayne's rifle scabbard?), one of Wayne's best, shot in Monument Valley (same place; different movie). This view reminds me of an historic log homestead I came across in Montana, including the blue mountains on the horizon and loads of these yellow bushes filling the yard. Having submitted it to Caedes back in 2008 I'd provide a link it except practically no one left a comment so I tossed it. This perspective, looking out of the house and down the steps/ramp to the other buildings is nice, the structure giving an elemental frame to the composition. ///==///==/// Actually, I went online and found someone else's photo of that Montana homestead I mentioned, the Parker Homestead, built in 1901 in the Jefferson River valley west of Three Forks, MT.

icedancer: Really like this and just voted for it last night - good luck
Vickid: The darkness, the light, the shadows, the sky.... what else is there to understand, pure beauty, excellent scene. Best of luck in the contest. Favorite.
icedancer: OK, I'm ready to jump through, lol Super capture and those reflections are amazing
trixxie17: Your spotting this was great work Connie and it does have a surreal effect.
Starglow: Terrific reflections and clever idea for a shot
Lightpainter: Very nice application of your rendering technique. I have been trying to understand the math behind it. So far, no luck. It certainly makes interesting images.
Tootles: Very clever use of texture -- I like the way the walls are plain compared to the rest of the scene, which helps them frame it. The shine on the water is the icing on the cake!
