1st place
Always Lenticular by Flmngseabass

Nikoneer: The Mothership has arrived!!! My idiocy aside, this is a very cool shot, Bruce. Lenticulars form over high mountains and mountain ranges (like one I caught out in Glacier National Park, coming over the Continental Divide), and manifest in a variety of shapes. They are somewhat rare, though, so you are lucky to have been in the right place at the right time.

Flmngseabass: Superb image Vicki!! That water is amazing and the cliffs are beautiful:) Tell me Vicki, is the lower portion of the cliffs been artificially coated to prevent collapsing or are my eyes gone wacky:)??

corngrowth: ---I am glad I could share it with you---

'Nik', many thanks for sharing with us this magnificent series.
The photographs are wonderful, but photographs only can't make it to a great series. The well documented narratives are an integral part of it. In that matter, you've spoiled us.
Thanks again. Very well done, 👍 !

5th place
Hands on the Wheel of the Turning World by Pjsee16

bfrank: Congrats on 5th place, Paul!

corngrowth: Paul, was this very fine sunrise image taken at or near the Cabot Trail, almost on the most northern part of Cape Breton Island looking over the Cabot Street (the street between the St. Lawrence Bay and the Atlantic Ocean)?
A very scenic sight. By checking-out this link the water comes into my mouth, 😁 !
