This is one of those 'I needed a photo to go with the title' photos. Luckily for me there was a shed door handy when the title struck me. Even luckier, it was so weathered that the layers on layers of paint had long ago cracked, chipped and peeled to create some semi-interesting patterns. But I think we can all agree that would have made a rather silly title.

This is a closeup of one of the door panels. Rotated, flipped and tricked out. One of the first things to go was the colour. After all this is about texture not colour. Several adjustments later and I ended up with something that looked nothing like this. Mistakes were made and blame quickly shifted elsewhere. Then just because I had one hanging around I threw in a free frame.
