This timber bridge accross the Waitaki River, New Zealand was constructed in 1881 and is still in use today. It connects the small town of Kurow with the Hakataramea Valley.
The name Kurow is an anglicised version of Te Kohurau (a nearby mountain) and means "many mists".
The river bank was a nice place for a picnic this Easter Day :)
