In the upper right corner you can see the jade green water indicating the plunge pool, here we see the downstream lip of that pool with just enough water rushing over it to create this lovely pattern, less water there would be no upsurge whitewater, more water and the dips in the rock would have little impact on the water shape. I guess I was there at just the right time. Spring Creek Cascades near Beechworth, Victoria, Australia. Winter time after plenty of rain.
