Why this title? Well, this is the Caldera (a crater) on the Island of La Palma. And, from what I understand, it is the biggest in the world rising up to 2400 m above sea level. The BBC broadcasted a documentary on the Tsunami risk due to this and other craters on La Palma. It is expected that the craters, with their poreus rock will slide off the Island during an outburst somewhere in the next 1000 years. When that happens, a tsunami wave of about 400 meters(!) high will head off towards the east coast of the USA. I'm not sure I want to be there when that happens, even if that would get me a really awsome shot. Concerning the picture, It was quite hazy that day so I did do some rework on the PC to get this result. Hope you like.
