Rockwood, Ontario, Canada. The man-made lake is lowered in the winter exposing a long-fallen birch. Enveloped in ice encasing bits of red cedar leaves. Is it a branch or really a grotesque limb of a long departed creature? It matters not, the lake will consume it again with only the camera, and you, as witness.
