Even Shelob needs to drink and wash her mandibles after chewing on raw orc. She also washes her cobwebs in the pools of the Mordor River, though Frodo made such a mess of them with his dagger that there are huge slashes and rips for her to mend.

Pesky hobbitses! She will approach them with more caution next time.
