.......Robert Charles John Manners, Lord Haddon, son of the 8th Duke of Rutland ......... who died at the young age of 9 in 1894. This Italian marble effigy lies within the Chapel which is the oldest building at Haddon Hall in Derbyshire, dating back to the mid 12th century! :O ...unbelievable that it is still standing! I will post some pictures of the inside of the Chapel at a later date - it is decorated with all kinds of fresco wall paintings which have now faded to almost invisible, but incredibly have stood the test of time.
