The geese will be here for only a few more weeks. I spent my time this weekend focusing on their flight. They seem to start massing in the water after about 8:00am. At 8:30 am they begin to fly away to where ever it is that they graze. As they take off, they fly straight at me and then to the right and sometimes to the left. My big lens is a dinosaur and can only be manually focused. This was a particularly cold morning, creating a mist above the water.
