It was very windy at the top of this hill when I snagged this shot. The Columbia River flows from its headwaters in British Columbia,Canada, through Washington state and then along the Washtington-Oregon border to the Pacific Ocean. It's one of the major waterways used by the Lewis & Clark expedition to map out major parts of the US during its earlier years. The Columbia River bar into the Pacific is one of the more dangerous bars shipping has to deal with on the planet. Now to find that Goonies house...Astoria, Oregon, US.
