I took this picture of the Strelitzia Reginae aka: Bird of Paradise while visiting the San Diego Zoo, Jan 18, 2015 while on our holidays. The San Diego Zoo is really beautifully kept and huge, Click Here to see the map.

The only thing I did was bring out more detail and cropped it a little. Just love the gorgeous colours of this blossom.

Hope this brightens up your screen some, we've had so much snow & bitter cold, I am ready for spring right now. Running out of room to put the snow in our front yard, looks like a ski slope.

I was asked to work a real big competition this weekend in our city called the: 2015 Ontario Regional Synchronized Skating Championships, so might be busy again, will find out tonight, actually I am hoping I will not have to do it. Each Team has 20 skaters on the ice at the same time weaving their magic. We have 24 teams performing over 3 days, a lot of work. So if I'm not around you will know the reason
