Sometimes I just like to get away and not really do anything. Last week was one of those times. The pressures of work and other responsibilities put me in a position of needing some time for myself. So I packed my camping gear, my camera, and my laptop and headed to the mountains. This is one of my favorite places for solitude. There are no modern conveniences, so one can truly be alone. This particular day dawned overcast and yet had a magical feeling to it. I hope I have done justice to it.
