The circular area isn't a landing site, just a low spot where water collects during what passes for a rainy season in these parts. This is a three shot composite looking southwest toward San Diego from the top of Ghost Mountain in the Anza Borrego desert. Shot with the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II tilt/shift lens, using both tilt & shift. I climbed over a whole lot of boulders to get this view.
