Manawaipuna Falls is a 360 foot high waterfall in Kauai. This is the famous waterfall that was in the opening sequences of the film "Jurrassic Park". It is accessible only by helicopter and the operators of the choppers are willing to dive in to get close. Due to the many chopper accidents in Hawaii in recent years we did not take the ride. This image was shot from a viewing platform quite a distance away, but I did like the waterfall juxtaposed against the lush green and the red mountains of Waimea canyon. All comments and critiques appreciated.
