This afternoon I have made this photograph at a recreation place and true nature superb is. The butterfly continued all that time sit this way that I could make several photograph. Also still then a bumblebee came sit. A little bit history: Thistle butterfly (Chyntia cardui). The first examples of this appetite butterfly usually arrive at our in the month of May. These is originating from South-Europa and perhaps even, however, from North Africa. So that they have therefore a travel of more than 1000 km behind the back. In some years they are scarce, but in good years there are observed more than 10,000. The thistle butterfly is a powerful aviator. During the appetite its average speed is about 15 km per hour. Some thistle butterflies even reach Iceland. Wing tension: 50-60 mm. Enjoy!
