luckyshot: Ron - The dignity that is present in all military cemeteries is created, in part, by the precise pattern of rows of stones, each one shaped exactly like the others from white marble. My father, a WWII veteran of the Pacific Theater, talks very little about the war scenes he witnessed, only saying that you never forget the smell of death. If only the whole of humanity could heed that message. May the men and women laid to rest here know that someday others will not follow them to such an ending.
