1st place Nikoneer: Unlike Jon Voight in "Midnight Cowboy", this appears to be Gitar Gill in "Midday Cowboy." In a small town they'd pick him up in a rubber truckNew York is more tolerant of colorful characters (otherwise that's all the police would have time to do) because there's so many more there. Actually, I'm not sure who's the odder character here, the cowboy or his rapt audience in the black suit and blue cap behind him. Yeah, this one definitely has the best shot at winning 1st in the contest. Unbelievable image... I have to wonder what sort of psychological need brings the cowboy to a performance like this. -Nik

3rd place Flmngseabass: Brilliant in every aspect Nik!!!!!!!!! A notable achievement in conveying the contest parameters!!
mirto56: That was my first question...how did you do it? Practice, okay...but???? Nevertheless, I like all the thought and work you did in setting this one up, NIk. I'll be you even used a little Windex and elbow grease to get the metal to shine. An excellent concept for the current contest. You've got a winner here.
4th place
0930_23: You always have such good contest entries, HF.
This is a dandy.
TicK
casechaser: Neat picture Mary and best wishes in the contest.
mesmerized: You've done it again, found something unique on the beach well suited for the contest theme...great entry and lovely details and lighting...best of luck, Mary....cute title too.
5th place Jimbobedsel: He looks bored, too. His parents are probably making him do this routine! I think it's a good entry for the contest, too.
susanlynn: I think any one of these fellows would stand out in a crowd - good luck in the contest Bob.
