1st place
The 4 Elements by stylo

Lightpainter: Beautiful work and it certainly fits the theme. The one comment I might have is that the sky above the water spout seems too calm to generate such a violent vortex. But it certainly beats what I could have done. Bravo.

2nd place
Sandy Day by GunnerMan

mesmerized: Very happy to see your wonderful image place in the contest...congratulations.

nanadoo: WOW! Congrats on your second place in the contest!!

ryzst: I like the sweeping grandeur of this, the sense of place in a real world. Excellent composition and framing give it an epic quality. The top of the dunes also form a sine wave that draw the viewer deeper into the picture, like a path that must be followed, to it's end. A good thing to have in any landscape, real or imagined. From someone who's faked a few landscapes of his own, this rocks.

Hareshaw Rainbow by biffobear

rvdb: Congrats on your win.

Rob

picardroe: Very beautiful waterfall, and also the rainbow, Well captured Richie.

GunnerMan: Always love the water shots that have that blur from longer exposure. Combined with the brightness of the water and the rainbow it looks more like a magical substance. Great work.

5th place
~ The Wind ~ by mesmerized

nanadoo: CONGRATS in placing in the contest! This will always be a fav for me!

FlimBB: Grats on your placement in the contest. You did an excellent job in portraying the wind - not an easy thing since the wind cannot actually be seen. Well done.
