Nikoneer: What strikes me here is the absence of color in the facades, or perhaps it's simply monotone (I'd have to see the same scene in daylight to be sure), and the other is trying to think of what the purpose in those sub-piazza (hah!... spelled it right) lights might be. Are they there to provide a guide to tipsy wine lovers as they meander through the area at night? Is this Italy's largest human chess board, with the game played only after sundown (vampires? Hmmmm...)? Airport landing lights for city bats, organized by the "Tutela Pipistrelli?" Whatever the case, it's an interesting shot, perfect for the contest, and the next time there's a light fog rolling through the piazza you have to get out there. Imagine what thin columns of synchronized light, shining up through a haze would look like on "film?" Amazing, I'm betting.

Ramad: Looks good with the moonlight on the water and the boats. Will be a good entry with this natural lighting.
