1st place
LynEve: I think this is perfect for the contest Sandi !.
corngrowth: Think you're not dealing with claustrophobia, Sandi, ☺ .
If this will be your contest entry: a good and appropriate one. Good Luck with it my friend!

2nd place LynEve: Congratulations on your placement Ted - well deserved :)
Nikoneer: Oh, I love shots like this, looking straight up into a massive construct (like this one and that one). Loaded with repetitive lines, contrasts in color and light, an a perspective not normally seen. I'm assuming you mentioned Point of View because it's now in the contest? It's perfect for that. If you were visiting there I'm sure you discovered that the tower, like New York's Empire State Building, was intended to act as a dirigible mooring station... [see images in Paris and in New York].
Definitely saved and into my favorites, thanks. A little more history: Gustave Eiffel also built the Statue of Liberty, chosen to replace the original builder of choice after the man died in 1879.
Happy Trails

jerseygurl: Beautiful shot on the Arno River Pat - the bold colors of the buildings really add a nice framing perspective - Great Capture and Good Luck in the current contest!!!!!!!!
4th place

Flmngseabass: Congrats on this fine render Frank!!!!
Dunstickin: Amazing artistry Frank!...I really do like the idea!...
Very good luck in the contest mate!
5th place icedancer: Marvelous shot and makes a super entry - gorgeous view and was wondering is this one free
Nikoneer: Definitely looks like a great place for a shutter bug to hang out. Marshes and swamps are a haven for a mess of species and subspecies, so are we going to be treated to submissions of birds, bugs and flora native to this area?
