trixxie17: Congrats on the contest Vicki - it was a beauty!
jerseygurl: Your image is amazing Vicki - love the soft colors and textures - I would say this shot would be an excellent entry into the current contest!!!!!!!!
Pjsee16: The image is very striking and the contrast between the blue of the water and the white rock is dramatic. I could almost mistake it for an iceberg..by the colors.

corngrowth: I've no philosophizing thoughts about this image. I only enjoy it very much, Richie!
Vickid: Stunning, awesome details.
Nikoneer: The warm and slight softened nature of these photos, Richie, are very reminiscent of the classic renaissance painters I had to study in college, chasing a degree in fine art. As for the image, It is the classic ^Two Roads^ of Robert Frost. Through the gate is a bucolic pasture with known denizens like cows, sheep, border collies, and the like, in bright sunshine or soaking rain, and down the path is cool quiet, wildlife, small rustlings in dark places, and exploration. It all depends on what the individual visitor to your photo finds comfortable or enticing. Personally, Richie, I choose the path. So does my wife.

bfrank: It is a very majestic place. Thanks for sharing your journey, Nik! Where I am about all you see is pine trees except for the farm lands.
jerseygurl: Congrats Nik on taking 4th place in the contest!!!!!!!!!!
Flmngseabass: Marvelous landscape Nik:):) Good lighting for sure as stated by Jeff:)
corngrowth: Paul, was this very fine sunrise image taken at or near the Cabot Trail, almost on the most northern part of Cape Breton Island looking over the Cabot Street (the street between the St. Lawrence Bay and the Atlantic Ocean)?
A very scenic sight. By checking-out this link the water comes into my mouth, 😁 !
