1st place bfrank: Congrats on your win, Bruce!!!!
ro_and: cool....Ro
corngrowth: An amazing weather phenomenon, perfectly captured by you, Bruce.
I've seen many different clouds during my lifetime, but not a lenticular one like this one.
I'm not that lucky like you, Buddy, 😁 !

corngrowth: Vicki, I agree with Paul, about the appearance of an iceberg, so as a former seaman I was frightened somewhat, because the main part of an iceberg is submerged. But your narrative made me at ease: an iceberg in the Greece surrounding waters would have been 'pretty' unique!
An intriguing capture however, taken very well!

Nikoneer: The warm and slight softened nature of these photos, Richie, are very reminiscent of the classic renaissance painters I had to study in college, chasing a degree in fine art. As for the image, It is the classic ^Two Roads^ of Robert Frost. Through the gate is a bucolic pasture with known denizens like cows, sheep, border collies, and the like, in bright sunshine or soaking rain, and down the path is cool quiet, wildlife, small rustlings in dark places, and exploration. It all depends on what the individual visitor to your photo finds comfortable or enticing. Personally, Richie, I choose the path. So does my wife.

trixxie17: I like the downward angle which lets us know we are leaving and leaving with another great look.
bfrank: It is a very majestic place. Thanks for sharing your journey, Nik! Where I am about all you see is pine trees except for the farm lands.
5th place bfrank: Congrats on 5th place, Paul!
trixxie17: What a glorious shot - I love that time of day for photography!
jerseygurl: Congrats Paul on taking 5th place in the contest!!!!!!!!
corngrowth: Paul, was this very fine sunrise image taken at or near the Cabot Trail, almost on the most northern part of Cape Breton Island looking over the Cabot Street (the street between the St. Lawrence Bay and the Atlantic Ocean)?
A very scenic sight. By checking-out this link the water comes into my mouth, 😁 !
