1st place
History in Rubbles #3 by palral

gonedigital: Well done Roger #3 was definitely the best, & now you've won the contest.

Congratulations

danika: I vote for this one as I like your slightly upward perspective which to me puts more emphasis on the structure. The golden grasses add a nice contrast as well as the sky. Excellent work, Roger.

2nd place
Seen Better Days by Dunstickin

palral: My recollection, Bob, is that you win most of these contest already which is why I never enter. I did notice a flaw. There's some phantom leaves that were not eliminated by the sky directly above the sign and to the far right of the top of the wagon.

Roger

P.S. My eyes aren't that good. How come you seem to be getting a pass from some very good photographers above? Must be feeling sorry for you after the terns pooped all over you.

3rd place
..where old cars go to sleep - part 2 by Zeniac

LakeMichigan: This is a great contest entry .
Wonderful tones and textures .
Good Luck .

LynEve: Best of luck in the contest with this fine entry.
There is wonderful detail in all that rusted metal.

100k_xle: Great Shot of this Old Clunker. The Rust on this beauty would have made a Killer HDR.

4th place
An Old Classic by LakeMichigan

Starglow: I'm sure it made some little kid happy and it made us happy also looking at your fine photo. Neat image.

trixxie17: Boy that brings back memories - cool find.

ryzst: Congratulations on your placing so well in the contest. It could have been higher - I think it was a really strong entry. Anyway, a well done take on days gone by & the treasures of rural America.

5th place
From Gold to Dust by LynEve

gonedigital: Certainly looks battered Lyn but a treasured relic indeed, apparently pianos that have been constantly played for a long time wear out, & there's little that can be done to restore them.

Ramad: That piano has certainly done its share of work. Nice capture of this valuable instrument with a history.
