I once had a series of Why I Golf shots in my gallery but I inadvertently deleted all of them when I was doing some gallery remodeling. I didn't know whether to put this in the Places of Worship gallery or Ruins.
This is a five shot pano taken today. It was stitched together using the photomerge option in Photoshop 5. I am standing in the middle of Number 7 Fairway about 200 yards from the tee. Lank Links is a 9 hole golf course. On the left you can see Number 5 Green. Dead ahead is Number 7. If you can hit the ball a long ways, you can try to get over the water or on the green. From here I will have to hit a layup short of the water and try to hit the green with my third shot. Here is the water's edge straight ahead. Number 7 is a par 5.
The water tower in the distance on the right shows the location of my town--Lancaster, Mo. The cart path will take you to holes 8 & 9 and eventually the clubhouse where frosty beverages are served. If you bring your own flask, you can have your last shot there. :) Now when I tell you I have been or am going golfing, you will have some idea what lake I hit my ball into. Hope you enjoy.
