I was sitting around feeling rather melancholy today, when this photo caught my eye. It is another one I took while walking and thinking. This song and the flower seemed to suit one another. The song was popular in the Vietnam Era but it seems as timely today as it did then.

Veteran's Day is next week and this is my early salute to all those who have served. Some returned, some didn't. It is also dedicated to anyone who has felt the loss of a loved one.
