I read this story today in The Washington Post and wanted to share it with everyone. I remembered this photo, so thought it a good time to use it.

Obviously the horse has learned to turn a "blind eye" to its fate in life, and is making the best of a bad situation. So has Smiley the dog in the story. I think we all could learn a lesson from these animals. Don't worry so much about the little things in life, that don't matter much in the overall scheme of things. The bad hair doesn't seem to be bothering any of the horses. Just make do with what you have and do the best you can. Lesson over.
