I normally don't post on Foofy Friday, but this is for Cockle Burr. Cockle Burr was an old time preacher in our community and he passed away December 27, 2015. He told me last Spring I needed to come out and take some photos of his flowers. When he told me, it was late in the Spring and the flowers were getting close to their last days. In fact, a storm passed through the area the next day after I had taken my photos and virtually destroyed all of them. He had one of the largest funerals ever held in our community. RIP Walter Burnett aka "Cockle Burr."
