These beautiful flowers were on the levee overlooking the Mississippi River in Hannibal,Missouri during the flooding in June and July, 2019. This was taken on June 3rd, 2019. The water level was approaching 30 feet on this day. Flood level was 16 feet. It has now fallen to 17.7 feet.

Photo was taken from the same spot as this and this photo. Mother nature gives you beauty right along with ugly. The water has worked, or is working, its way to New Orleans where Tropical Storm Barry is expected to land on Saturday. It is expected to be a Hurricane by the time it reaches landfall. Pray for all the folks in its path. Don't forget this is the part of the world where E.J. resides.
