AKA--The Claw

While out hunting, I stumbled upon this tree. I could hear something making scratching sounds and I thought it could be a buck rubbing his horns against at tree. When I got to where I heard the sound, there wasn't a buck in site. I did see this tree and it managed to be perfectly still while I stared at it. I sat there for a while and it refused to move. While I was sitting there, a squirrel came down the tree and started to run towards the fingers. I swear one of the fingers twitched and the squirrel did an about face and scampered back up the tree. The wind picked up and a shiver went up my back. As I walked away I heard a sigh of relief, and to this day I'm not sure whether it was the wind, the squirrel or the tree. Strange things happen in the woods.
