My mother, center bottom front, celebrated her 96th Birthday, May 27th at the Nursing Home. The glare from the windows made it difficult to get a photo. She is pictured with the staff who, like all her family, thinks she is pretty special. We don't think it, we know it! Because of the Covid 19 we haven't been allowed in the Nursing Home since March 15th. I sure missed giving her a kiss and a hug on her birthday, but I'm thankful she is still around where I can see and talk to her. Hopefully I can become a regular visitor to her in the near future. The staff has done a marvelous job taking care of her and the rest of the residents. Instead of crying over what we don't have, we should count our blessing on what we do have. We all sang Happy Birthday to her. She smiled!
