I love coyotes. Living in Banff National Park, we see coyotes around all the time. They scavenge around in town too, generally at night. The thing I like the best - their curiosity. Whenever you drive by one, they often will run away, but they always look back at you over their shoulder. Most other animals seem to forget about you as soon as they look away. My 12y daughter took this photo a couple of days ago near Two Jack Lake when we were on an afternoon drive.
