This is a memory shot taken from the Pine Creek Cook-house, outside the ghost town of Ashcroft near Aspen. It's an elegant restaurant way off the beaten track. To get there in winter you have to snowshoe or take a horse drawn sleigh. I've loved this scene for more than 30 years. I'll be leaving Colorado soon and I'll take this with me.
