I painted this about 10 years ago on an old wooden plank that took a bit of work to smooth out. The original image came from a tole painting magazine or some similar source, can't really remember now. This image is about as close as I'm ever going to get to doing a "proper" portrait work. I tried using a larger frame around this but it really didn't look right so I used a small dark one instead. Well enjoy it and your comments welcomed.
