I started out today to get some photos of some spiders... and happened to have found one in the midst of a feast provided by an unlucky grasshopper. Which I accidentally caused to jump to an early demise. Then I saw this gal out of the corner of my eye, and thought it would make a more interesting subject, if not less objectionable. I didn't have to chase it around too much. It was much too interested in feeding off the goldenrod plants. A couple of hundred photos later and this is one of the better shots.
