I met this jolly young fellow early one morning in a forest clearing. This particular raptor proved to be rather elusive in its behavior. Any time I approached closer than 50 meters it would fly off to roost in another pine. So began the not-so-merry, not-so-long chase. I ran out of clearing long before it ran out of places to fly off to.
