I found this one tightly wedged in the bin. It took me a bit of work to pry it loose. It had been in there so long it had started to grow roots. To the best of my limited knowledge this was shot 3 or 4 years ago on a Tuesday afternoon.
This is a painted trillium found growing in the wilds around these parts. They quickly spring up in forest areas that have been recently cleared. It's not unusual to see hundreds of them, or more, in some clearings.
