This scene was shot from a moving vehicle speeding down the highway at about 130 km/h. It made for some difficult camera work. Off in the distance is Curtmar Farms located in Fort Ellis, NS. Flowing through the scene is the mighty (slow) Stewiacke river; from the exposed mud showing it would seem the tide is out, so feel free to frolic in the mud flats until it trickles back in, I'm told it's a sole-sucking experience. Cropped and a bit shopped. I figured I'd leave the foreground in the photo and remove a good portion of the sky. Not to say I didn't try it in a few dozen other configurations, but this one works for me and suits my tastes.
