I came across this strange fruit bearing tree the other day at work. Judging by the colour of the fruit it won't be fully ripe for another day or two. Unfortunately I finished the work that needed to be done in the area and have moved on to another site. So I'll never be able to taste the heady sweetness of the fruit as I imagine the local wildlife will strip the tree bare in no time flat.
