Well there it was on the far shore and me on the near. To say I yearned for its gentle embrace would be maybe stretching the truth. Though it would be nice to sit awhile; after all I had walked all of 50 meters from the parking lot to get this far. I don't think it's asking too much to have evenly spaced benches in a public park. But these folks scattered them seemingly randomly across the park-scape. It was almost as if they wanted you to explore the place just so you could get to a comfortable seat.
