Now it is beyond me why narcoleptic dogs should be allowed to go around telling untruths while the rest of us are expected to never prevaricate under any circumstances unless we find ourselves running for public office. But apparently it is one of those old sayings passed down for generations and then some that has undoubtedly had its original meaning twisted beyond recognition.
