So they opened up a new trail down at the park over the summer and I finally got around to it over the weekend. Well I actually had a round tuit but misplaced it sometime early last July; otherwise I would have gotten there a lot sooner. And the trail is not quite as new as you would be led to believe. Some sections are downright older than the dirt it's composed of; I mean a woods road like this just doesn't spring up overnight, unless you're a heavy sleeper. This scene was shot near the end of the hike, if I had gone the other way it would have been near the beginning of the hike, but I wouldn't have seen it as I'm not really in the habit of walking around in circles or constantly looking over my shoulder as I tend to get dizzy or bump into things when I do.
