The signs are definitely there that autumn is in full swing. Some of the leaves even had the indignity to fall on my head as I was passing as if I was responsible for their condition. Even the pine tree needles were changing colour in solidarity with the maples, birches and poplars. Judging by one of the other signs there was a maximum seating capacity of 30 ahead. And I was the 31st in line so I was forced to wait outside to take in the show. Or at least that's what I took the sign to read. Because there was no way I was going to approach 30 km/hour on foot even with a good tail wind, and it was windy this day.
