It would seem that I was not the only one seeking solitude on my walk through the park. I met what I can only assume to be someone's pet dog on this stretch of trail; the other option being that it was a feral dog with enough sense to wear a collar with tags to escape detection. No introductions were made as a squirrel interrupted the moment. I went one direction and the dog and squirrel went off in the other.
