These mushrooms interrupted the start of a sitting spell. I had been wandering the park trails for several hours snapping shots of this, that, and some other things. I had finally spied a bench that offered a place to resign myself to idleness. No sooner had I started to make myself as comfortable as a hard wooden bench allows when I spy a fox off in the underbrush. Well Mr. Fox was playing shy this day and disappeared as quickly as he had appeared. That's when I spotted the mushrooms across the trail. Now ordinarily I would have waited awhile before getting up to take some photos. But, the light striking the mushrooms was fading so I had to get up from my seat and take the shots while I had the chance. Then I was finally able to take that break I thought I deserved.
