Hi friends. I had to go away for awhile-nothing serious:) and then my internet went out for 3 days so while I was gone I traveled to Washoe Valley, Nevada for my niece's wedding and on the way home we traveled across the Sierra Nevada mountains via Highway 4 which is very narrow in many areas but the scenery is well worth it. I had no idea what I would find I just know Sue and I wanted to go to Lake Alpine where we snowshoed in 2018 and it was on Highway 4. We were told there were bald eagles at the lake and there were....another story, another picture.... but as we crossed the summit on Highway 4 going west I came across this scene!! The sun was setting to our right which cast this golden glow on the water and especially the rocks and plants. I was amazed, it was so beautiful. Here's my best shot with my Galaxy Note 8 ever so slightly enhanced but not to much. Thanks for your comments:)
