Saw this tree yesterday in Berkeley,Ca. It's about 50-60' high and had this unique rough bark. I couldn't get the entire tree in the viewfinder because it was so close to me and there wasn't room to see it all at once to get the whole affect, so I took my best shot underneath it. Crazy bark. It was at least 5' diameter at the base and about 4' diameter up at about 20'. So cool:):)...Obviously, best viewed full screen to see the texture:)
