The other day while walking around Lettuce Lake I headed off the trial and found the beer cans along with an area I had never explored before. There were a lot of great vibes to this area, and since the park rangers made a firebreak, walking around was very easy. This photo looks so primal and you wouldn't guess it's less than 100 yards from a busy road. That's one of the things I love the most about Lettuce Lake; it is such a beautiful microcosm of nature so close to civilization.
