I found another not so great quality photo of hurricane Charley's aftermath south of here in 2003. We were spared the carnage where we lived at the time but our luck has run out. It looks as though hurricane Irma will have her way with us in the next day or two. There shouldn't be the level of destruction like what you may have seen in the Caribbean islands but it will take months to clean up and get back to normal. We live in a sturdy brick building and although there will be damage, I do not see us being blown away. There is a chance that the storm could make a turn at the last moment and glance us. I will strive to let you all know how we are. See you on the other side. :)
