These birds can grow quite large and somewhat intimidating. Usually, in non-urban settings, I see these birds standing along side fisherman waiting for a treat. They can stand 4 - 5.5 feet tall and can eat anything from fish to small mammals. Basically anything they can cram down their throats. Taken at Lettuce Lake February, 2018.
