I went to Lettuce Lake for the first time in ages yesterday and took some photos. There was a lot of bird activity and I was able to get some good shots. I was editing the batch I took and noticed something funny in one of the pictures, zooming in from a distance. I'm sure many of you can see it but if not look towards the top of the photo just to the right and you can see an alligator yawning. Yes, they do yawn just like us most of the time and when you sleep 14 hours a day you would yawn as well. I just thought of something! It's mating season, and this could be a male bellowing trying to attract a mate. They usually perform this early morning or around dusk. Here's a clip
